The idea behind the weekend is to give leaders, Administrators, and Scout Network members and their families the chance to experience various outdoor activities, share ideas and opinions and generally to give you a chance to enjoy yourselves.

During the weekend you will have the chance to try, kayaking, canoeing, archery, shooting, and climbing as well as a range of other less strenuous activities that you could then take away to use with the young people within your group.

The format of the weekend means that you don’t have to attend all of the days or even stay overnight. You can choose which days to attend, whether you go home and come back each day, come for only one day, or stay from Friday evening all the way through to Sunday afternoon. The choice is yours.

You only have to do what you want, no one will force you to do anything and you can get as involved as you want. You may find that you enjoy chatting to the other leaders or reading a book in the sunshine and don’t see the fun in jumping off an abseiling tower. What you do is up to you!
